According to the press release of this embassy, from September 9, 2012 to August 9, 2013 both cadets will attend trainings for officers for 11 months at the royal military Academy in Sandhurst. This training is being realized at the official invitation of British government and this is the first time that two females from Kosova will participate in Sandhurst.
Since 2009 the British Government has participated in the training of cadets of Kosova Security Force in the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst.
The course for each cadet costs around 60 000 pounds.
The Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst is one of the oldest and most prestigious military academies.
This academy provides around 600 new officers each year for British Army, together with a small number of foreign students, who have been selected by invitations.
The competition is tough with rigorous trainings. This regime implies that not everyone graduates.
The candidates from Kosova will travel to United Kingdom on August 18 and they are expected to graduate in August 2013.
