In the letter of Lluka addressed to Prime Minister Thaçi, is said that the request-proposal for the establishment of the statue of the Albanian national hero Hasan Prishtina in Prishtina, on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the Independence of Albania, is made after the decision by Government of the Republic of Albania to place the statue of our hero Hasan Prishtina in Tirana.
"We believe it is very reasonable and it is our obligation to do the same also as Kosovo," is said in the letter.
"I do not believe there is a need for many justifications, since the activity of our hero Hasan Prishtina for Albania and Kosovo is recognized and it is known his major contribution in this regard.
Therefore, we are obliged to address to you and the Government led by you, as our request addressed to the Municipality of Prishtina, respectively to Municipal Assembly and Mayor Mr. Isa Mustafa, did not get any reply.
For four years the request has been addressed to Mr. Mustafa, but we have not received any response, "is said in the letter of head of the Association for the Return of displaced Albanians From Their Lands, Jahja Lluka.
"Therefore, we dare to propose also the possible location for placing the statue.
We think that the space in front of Palace of Youth and Sports (former "Boro Ramiz") would be a suitable place of statue of our hero Hasan Prishtina to be placed and also this complex to be named Hasan Prishtina ", Lluka has proposed.
Head of the Association for the Return of Displaced Albanians from Their Lands, in his letter addressed to Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo has explained also that this request would be best to be approved until 22th anniversary of establishment of association where the traditional prize "Hasan Prishtina" will be awarded to Ambassador Frank Wisner.
