He emphasized that all of them whose houses are burnt or ruined can construct without license, whereas those who want to construct new houses should be equipped with license. He said that this is a principle that is applied for everyone.
Whereas, Kastrati evaluated that the decisions that were distributed in northern neighborhoods, have concerned the citizens. He requested from UNMIK officials to undertake measures towards those who issue such provocative decisions.
According to him, everyone should assist to create better conditions for everyone and not to create obstacles. “We are making efforts to create conditions for return of displaced persons as in north, as well as in south, regardless of ethnic background,” Kastrati said.
He emphasized that since 13 years after the war, there are many families without shelter in Mitrovica which live in bad conditions and the largest number are Albanians that are displaced from northern part.
