The beginning of this session has started with the presentation of evidence by the prosecution claims, where such evidence was accompanied by a series of passages into private session.
The prosecutor at the beginning of his witness has spoke about relations of three defendants and their cooperation they had for as he said, "crimes in the Dukagjin area."
The prosecutor of this case said that "Haradinaj due to his position of authority that came as a result of the respect he won then as a hero, as the commander and through his family, he was able to influence the behavior of others and in particular his uncle, Lahi Brahimaj and Idriz Balaj, as well as other soldiers under his command."
He said that "his approval and support of eliminating the position through illegal manners means accompanied with his position of authority and respect, served as an incentive for perpetrators in Jabllanica."
The prosecutor also said for Haradinaj that "not using of his authority to prevent abuses, particularly after he took over the command of this facility in June 98 followed by his continuation of suppressing the opposition, banning political activity of any party, or association with a political nature, ordering military police to annihilate collaborators, show his continuing support for repressive purposes of the KLA."
Whereas for the other defendant, Lahi Brahimaj, he said that he was central to the action taken on the use, abuse, murder that occurred in the prison of Jabllanica." According to the prosecutor, "Brahimaj in support of his family and his direct involvement in war crimes leaves no doubt in the indictment brought against him."
As for Idriz Balaj, said that his presence in prison of Jabllanica, his directly authorship of the crimes, his obvious desire for violence, all these show his illegal actions to suppress the opposition throughout the Jabllanica .
According to prosecutor, the cooperation of these three in the annihilation of spies and those who thought otherwise is obviously seen.
Otherwise, the restarting of these sessions came after a short break, where Ramush Haradinaj was given permission to stay inKosovo, but without having the right public exposure.
Closing session will also continue tomorrow, while after the word of the prosecution, the defense will present their proof as well.
