“I am obliged to resign from the post of Mayor of Kaçanik and from the post of head of PDK in Kaçanik, not by my will, but from the unfair and political decision of EULEX,” Zharku said in the farewell meeting with the political and administrative staff of the Municipality of Kaçanik.
The Supreme Court of Kosova has confirmed the decision of the first level against the Mayor of Kaçanik, Xhabir Zharku.
The Municipality of Kaçanik is expected to hold extraordinary elections within 45 days.
