Beginning of September, the end of supervised independence

The prime minister Thaçi added that in close cooperation with the International Steering Group, everything is going according to the plan.

“I stress that all preparations for completion of supervised independence of Kosova, which will happen in beginning of September, are going according to plan, in close coordination with the international community, the International Steering Group supporter for completion of supervised independence,” Thaçi said.

He said that the Government of Kosova is carrying out its obligations everyday, which derive from this important process of full independence and receiving full competencies for institutions of Republic of Kosova.

He added that they are getting coordinated as Government of Kosova, Parliament, President’s office and entire political spectrum, for this process to be a joint success, a new reality that is created together, as he said a new chapter of concrete European perspective for Republic of Kosova.

He expressed the hope that the evaluation in the last meeting of the International Steering Group, which will take place in the beginning of September in Prishtina, will be for completion of supervision of independence of Kosova, and this process will be followed with constitutional changes.

The deputy prime minister of Kosova, Hajredin Kuçi, in the meeting of the Government, has talked about the correspondence between the institutions of Republic of Kosova and Ashton, and he said that several basic points related to international missions in Kosova were discussed.
