The minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj held a press conference following the meeting of Kosova’s Government, however after being asked by Kosovapress on the discharge of the minister of Trade and Industry, Mimoza Kusari-Lila following the cement scandal, he did not give an answer.
“I repeat, I am not able to appoint or discharge any minister. I can say that respecting the legality and market economy are basic principles of the Government,” Beqaj said.
Again, after being asked on the issue of appointment of minister of Justice, following the resignation of Hajredin Kuçi, there was no answer.
“You should address that issue to the prime minister and government cabinet,” Beqaj said.
However, since the establishment of this Government, it had no spokesperson, whereas the role of spokesperson was carried out by the former deputy prime minister and former minister of Justice, Hajredin Kuçi. However following his resignation, the Government is closed even more for media.
