He made these comments following the meeting with the president of Republic of Kosova, Atifete Jahjaga. “Albania strongly supports Kosova’s independence and it has a synchronized voice when discussing about Kosova in international summits or meetings,” Topi said, and considered the voices on Kosova’s partition as dreams.
“Serbia should not get out of EU integration projects. It is the time for everyone to wish to have integrated Balkans for EU and Serbia should not get out of efforts for EU integration,” Topi said.
Whereas, the president of Republic of Kosova, Atifete Jahjaga said that the Republic of Kosova is a stability factor in the region.
“The Republic of Kosova is a state, it has it territorial integrity and it is stability factor in the region. It has good neighborhood relations with all countries of the region and I believe for these good neighborhood relations in the region to have with Serbia as well,” Jahjaga said, adding that her message to Serbia is that it must accept the new reality because there is no turning back and the time of hegemony has passed and Balkans belongs to free nations.
