Regarding the draft statute of UP, by considering it of special importance, the rector and senators agreed to review and analyze it in details by members of the senate. The advisor to the rector, Ferdane Llonçari said that the results of the analyses will be summarized by the group of seven members, and these results will be presented in the next meeting.
“In today’s meeting, the rector of University of Prishtina, Dr. Muje Rugova, supported by the members of UP Senate, requested from Kosova’s Government, respectively to the Ministry of Education, to proceed the Administrative Instruction on holding general elections in UP, including the students’ elections,” Llonçari.
This reaction of rector and members of the senate comes after the pressure of students’ organizations, which request to organize elections in UP as soon as possible.
