Minister Agani has expressed his concern about the departure of doctors from the public health system to private hospitals, and their migration in the region countries, saying that such phenomenon greatly affect the success of health system reform, which according to Agani, is in the final stage.
However, Agani evaluates that the Ministry of Health has managed to take systematic measures to reduce this phenomenon.
He mentioned as preventive measures the development of two public competitions within which 503 specializations were allocated in total, of which 341 for general medicine, 103 for dentistry, 7 for pharmacy, 13 various specializations founded by the MH funding for war veterans, 26 specializations for needs of the regional hospital in Mitrovica, 18 specializations for doctors of eastern Kosovo, and a specialization for Albanian doctors from Montenegro.

"These two competitions have greatly influenced the doctors, dentists, our pharmacists to have a clearer prospect in their country and to overcome this period of transition from this serious condition of health more easily and to have a modern system of public health management, thanks to these measures. These days we will fully complete this program of specializations and soon the first contracts will begin to be allocated in order that the specialist education program in various specialist areas to begin in October 1, "he said.
