The head of the Federation of Trade Unions of Health, Blerim Syla has said that this law should not pass, because, according to him, it is not good for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, health workers, but also for the entire health system.
"The first is public-private partnership, Kosovo is still not ready to enter into such an adventure, then the National Health Service, tends to be turned into a public enterprise, to be privatized tomorrow even with these laws. Of course we reject these laws, I tried to argue to you the Article 41 within conflict of interest which currently cannot be implemented. And the fourth is primary care that in this law is disabled and is not foreseen where it will find itself, "he said.
The draft-law is rejected also by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK). The expert Luan Jaha, from this party, said the draft-law version which was brought into Parliament, is not the version for which they have discussed. AAK calls for Draft-law on health to be returned for review.
"This version in many points is completely contrary and is not the version for which we have discussed and for which we have given a strong approval earlier. We are very aware that Kosovo needs a law on health, we are very committed to this law to be common for Kosovars because health is a segment that goes beyond party interests, but unfortunately the law that was brought into Parliament is not law which should be supported, "he said.
On the other hand, the MP Assembly of Kosovo and at the same time a member of the Commission on Health, Flora Brovina, said that the version which was approved by the Assembly of Kosovo, was final and according to her, has not changed.
However, she says that this drat-law will be discussed in the Assembly on Monday and the requests of Federation of Health Unions of Kosovo will be reviewed. But she admits that law on health will not work without health insurance.
