Kosova Customs did not realize the plan

However, the results are not as they have been planned in the beginning of the year. The state budget is not even close to be filled with funds from Kosova Customs. In the first six month Kosova Customs did not reach to pass the threshold set by the Ministry of Finances for 2012.

In the six-month report of the budget is noticed that until June this institution has collected 354 million euro, whereas it should has collected 378 million euro.

This means that Customs are short for 24 million euro in rapport to the plan, although in comparison with the previous year, there is an increase of incomes for around 2 million euro.

The information officer in Kosova Customs, Fllanza Mezini justified it with natural factors, however she did not admit that they are not reaching to realize the objectives.

“We have completed July with 99% of collection of incomes that were planned. Our monthly plans are often affected by other factors that cannot be controlled, such as cold weather in the first two months of this year, which affected the decrease of import and of incomes that were collected in that period, however now everything is going according to plan,” Mezini said.

However, it is noticed that the impact of the first two months in the report of the budget was small in the work of this institution, as in the other months it did not reach to pass or equalize the plan.
