Director of the inspection body, "KPU-Inspekt" Lirije Karaxha-Pula, emphasized that the company she runs has met all the criteria for authorization by MTI, for inspection of oil quality, but, according to her, her right for inspection was unfairly ceased by MTI, enabling another inspection body from Croatia.
"This is the second time that we protest because the Ministry of Trade and Industry has done a great injustice to us. We cannot get the deserved authorization because 'KPU Inspekt' meets all possible requirements. We are accredited according to international standard. We have applied three times. Once we have applied for extension of authorization, the minister did not want to hear about it, then, she has made consecutive announcements. We have applied also in the first announcement.
We meet all requirements. The authorization was not given to us," said Karaxha-Pula.
She added that they have received a strange notice from MTI that "KPU Inspekt", does not meet the criteria due to not possessing the bank proof and pricelist. According to her, they have been delivered to MTI, but were not considered by the latter.
"Reason is on our slogan. MTI illegally authorized 'Saybolt-PanAdriatika' that is foreign inspection body and not accredited at all, even though there was a requirement by law and administrative guidance. Those remarks which we have made in writing that Saybolt does not deserve to work here and to receive the authorization, were not taken into account," she said.
