Motion of opposition failed

The chief of the Parliamentary Group of Vetevendosje Movement, Visar Ymeri said that in the talks with the representative of Democratic League of Kosova and Alliance for the Future of Kosova, they agreed to modify the text of the motion and to reduce it from 4 to 2 points.

He read the points of the motion that have foreseen the prevention of privatization until bringing the information of privatization process.

“I will read these points, afterwards the parliamentary groups should declare on what they are thinking about them. The first point is to suspend the privatization process of Kosovar company for power distribution and supply until receiving the information in Kosova’s Parliament over this process, and the second point says that Kosova’s Parliament takes the final decision on privatization,” Ymeri said.

After proposing the motion, the Parliament Speaker put it in voting, where with 48 against, 31 in favor and 2 abstentions, the motion did not pass.

The session will continue with the review of some bills and the review of the Criminal Code of Kosova.
